Bugs, ideas and questions, read by the person who builds the site.

Walnut Timer is made by one independent developer, so your message goes straight to the person who can fix things. Write to [email protected], or fill in the short form on this page: it only prepares an e-mail in your own mail app, and nothing is sent through the website.

What to include

A few details turn a long back-and-forth into a quick fix:

  • Bug reportsthe tool (timer, stopwatch, alarm clock, countdown or focus timer), what you did and what happened, plus your browser and device, for example Chrome on a Windows laptop or Safari on an iPhone.

  • A sound that doesn't playwhether the tab was in the background, the screen was locked or the device was asleep, and on iPhone whether the silent switch was on. The sound test button on the alarm clock is a quick way to check first.

  • Ideasa feature you'd like, or something that gets in your way. A sentence or two is plenty.

  • Translationsthe page and language, the wording that's off, and what a native speaker would say instead.

  • Privacy requestsyour timers, alarms and settings never leave your browser, so there's little to look up, but you can ask about anything described in the Privacy Policy, such as the e-mails you've sent us.

  • Pressquestions about the site and how it's made are welcome.

When you'll hear back

Every message is read and answered by hand, usually within a few days, and the reply comes from [email protected]. There's no support team and no phone line, just one developer and an inbox that gets checked. Messages are kept only as long as needed to answer you and follow up.
